- We are off the ship today in Sri Lanka at an overnight safari! We Safari in the amazing Yala National Park and stay overnight at the beautiful Yala Cinnamon Wild Lodge. We saw tons of wildlife on our Sri Lanka safari including tons of elephants, water buffalo, warthogs, crocodiles, and many more. If you get the chance a Sri Lanka safari is a bucket list experience

Loved seeing all the animals especially the part you put together at the end of the video. You should do more of these like this. Loved your fishing glad you got to experience that. Loved the peacock at the end showing all its beauty. Great video

No, we did not do a specific video, but we have mentioned it from time to time. For this cruise, we used travel guard.

I am so glad that RCCL set this up for you. The Safari reminds me of a South Africa excursion I did and the resort was similar to a lunch location we had on an Israel tour. I am so glad I was able to do that in 2023 and sorry you folks weren't able to do the same but this stop makes up for it in many ways.

At 19.30 what are the things hanging from the tree? Some sort of nest?
It is some sort of nest. We’re not sure of the type of bird.
what are you using for filming? for instance when you were in the towers and taking a camera was forbidden.
Much of the time we use our phones to get video.
how was the mosquito situation?
They were there, but we wore plenty of protection and so weren't really bothered by them

You're too kind, I would have been so cheesed off at the tour operator. They should have just brought you to your hotel so you could have had dinner there and enjoyed the overnight on shore for a change. Also skipping lunch the following day, after dinner being so late the night before....unacceptable!
You know we just go with the flow and always try to be in the moment and be appreciative of every experience. But you're right sometimes you can't get a little frustrating. 😉
